We visit the 'HOMELESS & STREET SLEEPERS
露宿者'
once a month and we prepare some foods & drinks and mainly visit the area
under the bridges of Yaumatei, Sham Shui Po.

耀陽行動策劃「喬治·華盛頓號」及隨行艦多名海軍參與義務工作

耀陽行動策劃「列根號」及隨行艦百多名海軍參與義務工作
美國最大核動力航空母艦「列根號」USS Ronald Reagan
(CVN-76) 及隨行的兩隻驅逐艦和一隻巡洋艦訪港期間，百多名美國海軍在8月13及14日，參與由「耀陽行動」安排的多項社區服務，包括與青少年交流、探訪長者和露宿者以及分派食物福袋。
 
晚上另一批海軍跟隨「耀陽」負責人帶著福袋探望深水埗區的露宿者。福袋除了食物，還包含一些衛生日用品。在「香港露宿救濟會」的帶領下，低調地送出捐贈者一點點心意。

"正覺中學"也有一班熱心的家長及同學們一同參與是次活動頗為順利, 也有機會和一些露宿者傾談了一會了解他們的情況和處境. 希望"耀陽行動"日後能幫助他們更多,
但其實, 除了別人的援手, 他們的積極和自救也很重要~
不要放棄自己, 面對前路, 才能改善環境.

On Evening of 12-FEB-2010, Sunshine Action volunteer team also
visited & discover the Street Sleeper Site in Tsuen Wan area.
- Friday 27-Feb
6 Sunshine Action volunteers visited this area for homeless. The
Food covered for 32 cases, but we discover more than 40 this
evening.
- Friday 26-MAR
Only 3 volunteers visited the homeless this evening, but we
covered 42 cases in total. We also prepared better sandwiches
made of whole wheat, with double layer of cheese & ham. In order
to increase the level of energy, we mixed Tuna & Beef and added
a bit of Olive Oil.
Each case also received a pack of biscuits, an apple and 1
drink.
- Friday 30-APR
Nearly 18 volunteers came to help including a group of young
students. We have also a small chocolate cake specially made by
one of the volunteers beside our standard sandwich & fruit pack.

經兩次到外地服務過後，希能為香港貢獻多一些。回港後，相信是主聽了我所求，帶我認識到香港一個由個人發起的慈善組織，踏實地為貧人服務。今晚跟他們探訪油麻地露宿者，這是我的第一次。
在印度臭到露宿者的氣味，料不到在香港的也不遑多樣，在一天橋下超過四十名男士露宿，而且有些已住了數年。露宿者的家是怎樣相信大家應不大陌生;走近跟他們談天，聞到那股氣味難免有點忐忑不安，天天要醃咸魚的滋味可會是怎樣的呢??家財只有破舊霉’宿’的床鋪､一兩張舊椅､紙皮，身無分文，好天晒，落雨淋的他們。這些’他們’跟我們並不陌生，對!!他們正正住在被視為繁華的香港我們的家之一角。
今天的主要任務是派發小小的食物及予他們閒聊以表關心，可是大部分露宿者都出外了，我們就把食物放在他的床邊。服務過後，返回自己的生活圈，經過廟街的公園，看見很多中年男士目光呆滯地坐著，當中會否是橋底的露宿者嗎?等到眼皮掉下來才回去睡?
我乘巴士回家，看到Roadshow介紹旅遊，美食節目，這些節目可會是露宿者們遙不可及的事。只是幾分鐘之隔，看到生活大不同。如果有能力在一個月內’豪’食兩三餐，當中抽一餐能予他們分享，你話幾好呢?試幻想，如果香港的土地識吸取物資，我們將多餘的掉在地上，如水般被土壤吸取，然後自動分發給需要的地方，那貧人的生活就不用那麼苦了。

18 Volunteers cover the visit to homeless on 25-June, including
many students.
- Friday 30-JUL
6 volunteers visited this area on 30-July and happy to see the
number of the homeless has reduced by at least 10%. This is
actually a good sign as should be covered by the Hong Kong
social net.
- Friday 27-AUG
2 New volunteers joined our activity this evening... We notice
there are some new changes in the location of the
street-sleepers and also some increase in numbers.

students from Buddhist Ching Kok Secondary School
佛教正覺中學 joined the visit to Homeless
this evening. For the first
time, we are bring moon-cakes with sandwiches to visit them.

WORLD FOOD DAY 國際糧食日及

World Food Day was proclaimed in 1979 by
the Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
It marks the date of the founding of FAO in 1945. The aim of the
Day is to heighten public awareness of the world food problem
and strengthen solidarity in the struggle against hunger,
malnutrition and poverty. In 1980, the General Assembly endorsed
observance of the Day in consideration of the fact that "food is
a requisite for human survival and well-being and a fundamental
human necessity"
１９７９年，糧農組織第２０屆大會決定從１９８１年起，把每年的１０月１６日（糧農組織創建紀念日）定為“世界糧食日”，以期引起人們對全球糧食短缺問題的重視，敦促各國採取行動增加糧食生產，與饑餓和營養不良作鬥爭。每年世界糧食日，包括糧農組織在內的國際機構、各國政府及民間組織都要開展各種宣傳與紀念活動。
International Day for the Eradication of
Poverty 國際滅貧日 17-OCT
Through resolution 47/196 adopted on 22 December 1992, the
General Assembly declared 17 October as the
International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and
invited all States to devote the Day to presenting and
promoting, as appropriate in the national context, concrete
activities with regard to the eradication of poverty and
destitution.
BLOOMBERG Volunteers visiting S.S.P. Street Sleepers Shelter
國際消除貧困日（International
Day for the Eradication of Poverty）亦稱國際滅貧日或國際消貧日是聯合國組織在1992年12月22日會議上通過47/196決議，由1993年起把每年10月17日定為國際滅貧日，用以喚起世界各國對因制裁、各種歧視與財富集中化引致的全球貧富懸殊族群、國家與社會階層的注意、檢討與援助。提高全球的滅貧意識，提醒所有人持續為2015年「1.靠每日不到1美元維生的人口比例減半2.挨餓的人口比例減半」這個目標而努力.

Student volunteers from 2 schools : Buddhist
正覺中學 & ISF joined this evening to help distributing food,
fruits and drinks to over 40 homeless in Yaumatei area.
- Friday 19-NOV
5 Bloomberg volunteers joined our evening as we have to
distribute the Winter blankets to the homeless. It was a great
night as we carry many heavy blankets walking around the area.
- Friday 24-DEC ~ Christmas Eve
聖誕節
New volunteers came to help on X'mas Eve, including Jasmine, Wis,
Ian and Nora & Lanning prepared extra tuna & ham sandwishes.

to serve the poorest, the unwanted, the sick, the hungry, the
wounded, the unloved, the thirsty, the homeless...
Sunshine Action Ltd is only based in Hong Kong & This is the
