Mid-Autumn Festival - 中秋佳節 ’ - 人月團圓 2009

SUNSHINE ACTION ltd. - 耀陽行動 2009 program gives away food & daily products to 2'377 low-income families/cases through 32 major local and Macau organizations. Estimated to benefit nearly 7'000 peoples directly.

All foods bags in Hong Kong are packed exclusively by volunteers for 3 weekends. The food we selected for this program include 3-types of Rice, 3 canned food, rice vermicelli, oat and other daily products. The items have been following suggestion from our volunteer-dietitian from USA.

Mid-Autumn Festival - 中秋佳節 ’ 中秋佳節 - 人月團圓 2008

中秋佳節，本來應該是一家人開心團圓的日子，可是香港作為國際都市，貧富懸殊問題嚴重，再加上近日糧食價格急漲， 不少生活在貧窮線以下的低收入家庭，仍要為每天糊口和基本生活所需而煩惱。 為了讓香港的貧困家庭，歡度一個快樂的中秋節，香港 非牟利組織「耀陽行動」， 透過一系列的慈善活動，協助有需要人一家人開心團圓.

SUNSHINE ACTION ltd. - 耀陽行動 set up a program to give away food & daily products to over 800 low-income families/cases through several major local organizations. Estimated to benefit nearly 2'800 peoples directly.

Our Preparation & Packing

The rice we purchased for this program come in size of 25 KG each and all items are packed by volunteers. We try to give the best we could, so the rice are from Thailand.

The Faith & Commitment.不離不棄不捨的誓言 to serve the poorest, the unwanted, the sick, the hungry, the wounded, the unloved, the thirsty, the homeless...

Estimated several thousands poor elder peoples live in the poorest area of Kowloon: Sham Shui PO.

Many of them feel the loneliness since long time ago. Why don't we spend a bit of time in listening to them & giving them the happiness they deserve?

Society for Community Organization (SOCO) 香港社區組織協會

with SOCO - Mr. Ng, specialized in the Street Sleepers & Peoples living in Cubicles of SSP Area.	The Sleepers Shelter has been on going for second generation already.
Mr. Man has been taking care of the Street Sleeper for over 40 years!!!	The volunteers from SOCO helped us to distribute the goods among the needy.

 We have visited many Cubicles. Most of them are size slightly bigger of our normal single-bed. Completely covered by wood and they have to fit everything inside that very limited space...
That's what they called 'HOME'...

Of course, they have to share the bathroom, the kitchen, etc...
In SSP, there are over 10'000 families/peoples living in such condition.

A very brave Mother who works so hard to sustain 3 children and living in a space-room slightly bigger than 2 beds together.

We pack the dry mushrooms inside the Rice Bag as a set, plus the moon-cakes from Red Cross for this Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋 節.
